Legazpi City

Legazpi City – reachable city in Albay by any means of transportation, from Metro Manila, reachable in 12 hours, you could ride a bus bound to Legazpi City for a minimal fare in ordinary and not too expensive in air conditioned buses. They have daily trips day and night to serve you. If you don’t have that much time, Airplanes will save you with daily flight for only 1 hour from Pasay City. Another mean is by train, hoping that their regular schedule would be back soon.

Here’s what I visited in Legazpi City:

 

• Embarcadero de Legazpi – the only waterfront mall in the Bicol Region. It is situated in downtown Legazpi and it has a hotel inside of it for more convenient stay in the said waterfront mall. It offers shopping boutiques and shops, native shops, bars, restaurants, bowling, café, food court, zip line, sky walk, fantasea land, arcade, and a free ride by e-jeepney going to the heart of the city.

• Legazpi City Boulevard – situated just after the Embarcadero de Legazpi, this boulevard with a length of a kilometer or 2 holds the best jogging spot for health enthusiasts. Sunrise is one of the beautiful scenery of this place. Along the boulevard are the different bars in front of the seashore to entertain your night life. Live bands are always there offered entertainment to the guest they have. Roving patrol cars and police men are always on sight to ensure the safety of all the people who would like to visit the said place. And this place, is the best spot to celebrate monthsaries or anniversaries without spending large amount of money, a romantic place to spend a day with your love ones and the whole family.

 

•  Ligñon Hills – reachable by riding Loop 1 from Legazpi City or Loop 2 from the town before Legazpi City, the town of Daraga, this famous hill holds the best zipline experience in the Bicol Region. A 1 kilometer climb over the cemented pathway, you would burn first a lot of calories and loss your energy before reaching the hill top, to see the beautiful scenery of the whole Legazpi City and the Majestic perfect cone Mayon Volcano.

 

• A. Bichara Siverscreen Entertainment Center – for your ultimate cinema experience. With 3 cinemas inside of it and 1 is in 3D, your viewing pleasure is at its peak.

 

• Metro Gaisano and Pacific Mall Legazpi – second to the largest mall in the Bicol Region, shop all you want and buy all the souvenirs you want before leaving the City of Legazpi.

  

• LCC Mall Legazpi - before any other malls arises, this mall stands already to serve people of Albay. Most of my childhood trip to mall were spent here.
