Polangui

Polangui – this progressive town is the gateway to the Province of Albay. This town that sets at the border of Albay and Camarines Sur, holds one of the most beautiful festivals of Albay. Every month of June, this town was colored with red as they celebrate their month long celebration of Pulang-Anggui Festival, the Girl in red. This festival is to honor their patron saints, St. Peter and St. Paul.

Here’s what I visited in the Municipality of Polangui:

• ·Sts. Peter and Paul Parish Church – one of the beautiful churches in the province, this church is one of the churches who have a long aisle for wedding ceremonies.

• St. Expeditius Eco Park – located in the western part of the town, this eco park have golf course and a swimming pool to relax in.

• Danao Lake – this famous Heart Shaped lake, is home to the worlds’ smallest fish. Located at the North East of the town, be amazed of how beautiful the nature is.

• Balogo Farm Resort – a resort that is situated just outside the skirt of the town, is a resort just beside a clean river. Enjoy your stay with the fully tiled swimming pools of cold water.
